Climate Collective
Beat Klima Heat turned yesterday into a awesome wild party, with more than 700 people spending their Saturday night supporting Climate Collective and the radical initiatives during COP15.
Thanks to the many activists that showed up early in the day, the three floors of Folkets Hus became the arctic floor (with igloo included!), the fantastic subtropical floor and Cafè under konstuktion was transformed into Cafè Under Vand.
Already at 22.00, when Patchanka set the dance floor on fire, hundreds had come, and so many came in the following hours that the house couldn't possibly fit any more people, while the line outside kept growing!
Also the Cafè under Vand, initially meant to be a lounge area, became an amazing dance floor, while the big sellers on the first floor turned out to be the "Sunset of Capitalism" (Tequila sunrise), "Illusion in a COP" (Gin exotica) and the highly appreciated "Techno fix" (tequila with salt and lemon).
Great music and very positive vibes on all three floors made it an unforgettable party and a great kick start for December's activities.
Climate Collective and the party crew would like to thank all those of you who came and made the party possible, and to say to all of those who didn't come, but wish they did, that they will surely get a second chance!
